Group Exhibition - Flash Back

I have got an opportunity to participate at the event with CWA "Flashback"- tracing the evolution of Cinema is being put together by the students of Department of Visual Communication, Ethiraj College and Department of Media Science, Anna University. 

This was held at Anna university media department. at Dec 13th 2013.

This was gone for 10days long celebrations showcasing the birth of cinema and legendary significance. More focus is on South Indian cinema. 


Took a theme of KamalHasan who is my favourite actor, I've exhibited 3 of my dry pastel works...

Felt so excited to see my paintings in the exhibition.

I got a chance to give demo Pastel to my artist friends of Chennai Weekend Artists Group.

Pastel is very interesting medium and we can have fun with that...

On location Sketches

As a part of Chennai weekend Artists group, every week,used to go to different locations on every sunday morning.
It is always to fun to draw the sketches in the location and sharing knowledge with other artist friends. It's great inspiration too...
on the other hand, drawing on location is real challenge since one has to visualise, compose the object infront of us rather than sketching from already composed photographs.
